What’s to see along the Mississippi gulf coast we ask. “Oh, not much. They have a beach that’s probably 20 miles long” they respond “and there’s sure lots of casinos too.” Turns out there is something to see on the Mississippi coast. Along Beach Boulevard in the Biloxi, Gulfport area you will still see rebuilding from the 2005 hurricane Katrina with lots left to do, but you will also see these amazing wood carvings. You can learn more about the carvings here. Turns out the beach is man-made and is 200 feet wide and 26 miles long, making it the longest man-made beach in the world. Take that Texas!
