Three weeks isn’t enough time to get more than the flavor of a state, but what a taste Oregon has left in our mouths, leaving us wanting more. We covered about 300 miles of coastline, staying at seven different state parks along the coast. We saw great vistas from the road, different types of beaches, tidal pools lush forests and beautiful sunsets. Though Oregon is almost completely across the country from where we call home, we are definitely going to have to come back here. There is just so much to see and do. The people are friendly and it would be fun to spend more time walking through the small towns here. Of the parks we were at, Mary most enjoyed Cape Lookout and Beachside.
