RV TRIP TIP: Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone Mention Yellowstone National Park, and most people probably think of Old Faithful. While we love the geyser basins, our favorite part of the park might be just a little less famous: the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This spectacular canyon and its two powerful waterfalls seem more accessible to us than the more well-known "Grand Canyon" of Arizona fame. You can easily drive all along the rim to various overlooks, and quickly hike down into it on Uncle Tom's Trail, which descends steel a steel stairway directly across from the Lower Falls (the larger of the two).
