Today we are heading to Seward...a nice manageable 84 miles away. We drove the short distance back to the Seward Highway and made a left, continuing along the "Seward Scenic Byway". At the base of Turnagain Arm, there are a lot of dead trees from 1964 earthquake tsunami...Onto the Kenai Peninsula...The clouds are low...it's pretty socked in, actually. More absolutely beautiful fireweed on the hillside...We passed by Summit Lake Lodge......and the sun finally burned through the fog and clouds...nice...We arrived in Seward just before 12:30 and found the town sani-dump.
