Boondocking and Leaving no Trace With the recent articles on boondocking I figured I’d chime in with a topic that’s near and dear to my heart – leaving no trace of my presence after I depart from a campsite. The Leave No Trace movement started in the backpacking community, when we (the backpackers) started digging up trash left behind by other backpackers in popular campsites. Used to be that backpackers would bury their trash, and this was considered proper.
