Today we decided to go to Montana and tour Little Big Horn Battle Field where Lt. Col. George A. Custer made his last stand. It took us a little over an hour to get there and Bob drove. Some of the scenery was really beautiful. With our America the beautiful pass the admission was FREE. This area memorializes the U.S. Army's 7th Cavalry and the Sioux and Cheyenne in one of the Indians last armed efforts to preserve their way of life back in 1876. The Battle of the Little Bighorn is one of the most famous battles in American history. An Indian Memorial was dedicated June 25th, 2003.
