We are at Tropic Winds RV Resort, Harlingen, Texas.On Saturday, 11th we moved to Tropic Winds RV Resort in north east Harlingen. It is an Encore/Thousand Trails park. We are here on the Thousand Trails sites for 2 weeks ($3.00 a night) and then we will move to an Encore site ($170/week) within the same park for our week "out", then back to Thousand Trails site for 2 weeks and so on, until we start the journey home.One thing we have found out about the Rio Grande Valley, is that the wind almost always blows. Since we have been here the days have been sunny and warm and last night we had a howling gale and rain.
