After a gloomy looking morning with the threat of rain, the skies cleared just before lunch to reveal beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Since we got back home in early April we’ve pretty much stuck to easy afternoon hikes on pretty much flat level ground. Part of that, of course, was because we were working hard outside and just didn’t have the energy for rigorous hikes. Paulette and I had no real excuses though yesterday as we’ve been inside taking it relatively easy for a few days.
