Up until pretty recently, Wisconsin has not had a single vegan restaurant. So, when we found out The Cheese Factory Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells changed their menu to be 100% vegan and non-GMO (!!), we started to plan a day trip there. I’ve never been to the Dells before and while I’m not one for touristy areas, there are some roadside attractions and state parks I wanted to check out. It made for a perfect Mother’s Day road trip. We brought the pups with us, so we ordered our food to go and ate in the car (which was great because the restaurant was packed when Mike went in to get the food).
