On our way to Sault Ste. Marie, we stopped in Brimley MI for a couple nights and made the trek to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Brimley is about 45 miles away and the closest FHU campground to the Falls I could find. I needed to catch up on the laundry :) We considered the state park campground in Paradise, but those FHU’s won. That and a memory of Sherry and David getting almost carried away by the mosquitos up there in June. Mosquitos love us so a day trip sounded a little safer to us :) We took the “scenic” route via the Whitefish Bay National Forest Scenic Byway.
