Wednesday night we drove my parents back to their hotel. We were driving the night-time speed limit of 45 mile an hour. In the darkness Brian saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye and hit the brakes immediately. As he hit the brakes, an enormous bull moose slowly stepped out in front of our truck and we veered to the right of it and just missed hitting him. In the morning, we woke up before dawn and went the Gros Ventre Campground looking for moose in a better setting. When we arrived we spotted a cow and her calf. It was still pretty dark and they were far away so we decided to drive around the campground to see if we could find any more. We found two young bulls sleeping.
