Last night after dinner we went to check out the lightning strike from the night before. We couldn’t see from our trailer, because there’s a hill in the way, but the lightning actually caused a small fire. Our neighbors saw it and called 911. I think the rain put it out before Tonasket Fire Department arrived 14 minutes later. In the photo above, I added an arrow so you can see how close it was to where we’re camping.
