Hope springs eternal on this rainy yet spectacular Olympic Peninsula, as the weather people got it wrong today. Or at least wrong enough that an increasingly desperate solar situation got kicked down the road for another day or two. And always striving to live in the here and now, that's as much as this nomad can ask for.Clallam BayI rolled deep into the Makah Indian Reservation early this afternoon, intent on making the short hike to Cape Flattery. This is supposedly the "northwesternmost" point in the contiguous United States, but after looking over the map, I wonder why the town of Blaine, Washington isn't putting up a fight for the honor.
