From the site: Aluminarium - Boiling River
This morning we woke up at 6am to beat the crowds for a soak where Boiling River meets Gardner River at Yellowstone National Park. At first we entered the river at the end of this walkway. The water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. We tried wading our way to a good spot but my feet couldn’t handle the two painful temperatures so we quickly climbed out. Next we tried a different entrance to the river where we found a tiny little pool of perfect hot water. We had to huddle really close to each other in order to avoid the freezing and the scalding water, but once we found our spot we we were quite happy.
