From the site: Aluminarium - Boondocking at Mono Lake
I’ve been wanting to come to Mono Lake for a few years now. Last time we were in the area, it was hot, we both had colds, and we wanted to be plugged in, so instead of boondocking in Lee Vining, we ended up in Reno. Our spot on Picnic Grounds Road is better than our last four campsites. There isn’t a building or a vehicle in sight for 360 degrees, we have water and mountain views – it’s pretty spectacular. Tonight, we’re finally going to check out the main attraction, the tufa towers.
