Recently, when I pulled the curtains in our Airstream all the way open, I found more than just dust, there was mold. A lot of moisture accumulates around the edges of the windows from condensation, so it’s not a big surprise, it’s just something we don’t want to sleep next to. The plastic material has never taken to a simple wipe down with a paper towel. For some reason the dust that accumulates there pills up when you use a cloth or a paper towel. The sills cleaned up nicely with the scrubby side of an old sponge. Gross, right? I wonder if there are any other places we should be looking for mold.
