What began as a day of driving down to San Marcos to take Paulette and our friend and fellow quilter Kim to visit two quilt shops in the area ended up as a beautiful day not only for the quilters but for me and Kim’s husband Don. Don came along to keep me company for which I was very grateful. While the quilters were in the first shop for an hour, Don and I as well as the muttzo’s visited nearby Double Peak Park and it was spectacular.
