Wait, wait, wait, before you say: “I can’t afford that,” let me tell you it is only $3 for day use on Tuesday. Admission to the Desert Hot Springs Spa the remainder of the week is $5 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; and $7 Friday-Sunday. This is a perfect stop for snowbirds who have been hiking and boondock camping in nearby Joshua Tree National Park who are looking for a soak and shower. The price includes use of eight natural hot mineral pools, dry sauna, and locker room changing facilities. The warmest pool was 104-degrees (see Jimmy pictured at right).
