Las Vegas has a new KOA – the former Sams Town Boulder and Nellis campgrounds are now a KOA park. Located on the Boulder Highway about 15 minutes from the Strip and the Downtown area of Vegas, Sams Town is convenient yet much more laid back and less crowded than the more popular areas of the city. And Sams Town casino is one of the older properties which make it trend more toward locals and visitors that have been coming to Vegas for years. That doesn’t necessarily mean it is less desirable, just not everyone’s cup of tea when visiting this particular City of Lights.
