Sunday we woke up in Yosemite Valley to sunshine, so we headed out for a day of campground scouting. We walked from our campground to the 2 neighboring campgrounds and while none of them have what we look for in a campground, Lower Pines has the best sun exposure and possible views. Pictured above, the moonrise from our campground. Next we visited Wawona campground and then had lunch at the nearby lodge where a bird was stealing splenda from the table. My favorite campground for the day was Crane Flat. It’s 25 minutes from Yosemite Village, it wasn’t very full and the campsites are father apart and have more privacy.
