Carl G. Washburne Memorial (Oregon) State Park, just a few miles north of Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint, is a perfect base for intertidal exploration and family RV camping. The campground is located on the east side of U.S. 101, 14 mi. north of Florence and about 12 miles south of Yachats. There are 50 full-hookup ($31), 7 electrical ($28), 7 walk-in tent ($21), hiker/biker camp ($5), 2 yurts ($44). Max. site 57-feet. -Facilities include flush toilets and hot showers. RV dump station in day-use area. -Year-round campsites are first-come, first served — yurts are reservable.
