Arriving at the French Quarter RV Park this afternoon, we ventured out on foot to check out this oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. Bourbon Street and a quick look at the mighty Mississippi were at the top of our list. Our daughter, Amanda, is arriving tomorrow and we will be enjoying New Orleans with her and Justine, but we wanted to get our bearings in this historic city.Only about 6 blocks from the RV park is the famous (or should I say infamous) Bourbon Street and the historic Royal Sonestra Hotel.For tips, there are a wide array of interesting folks (and a dog!) that permit a photo or two.
