We drove a couple long days across West Texas to arrive in Austin where we had planned to meet up with our new friends, Amanda & Tim and Kate & Iain at a great park, McKinney Falls State Park. We spent 10 days here and honestly didn’t see much of Austin, instead spending our time socializing, eating and enjoying some local Austin beer. Ike really missed Iain Because we arrived mid-week at the State Park, we were all able to choose sites near each other since Texas State Parks don’t take reservations for specific sites.
