The Huron River Valley Resort, Marina and Campground, is a private campground located at 9019 River Road in Huron, Ohio. The city of Huron sits on the southern shore of Lake Erie, about 53 miles west of Cleveland. The campground itself sits on the Huron River, which begins in eastern Michigan. We learned about the campground from our AllStays app. We called for a reservation and were quoted a price of $38 per night for a water and electric hook up. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by friendly front desk staffers who were decked out in Hawaiian luau regalia. We learned that they were planning a weekend pig roast – hence the Hawaiian getup.
