We started out touring Acadia NP by taking the 27-mile Loop Road around the Eastern side of the park.I just love the rocks along the shore and took about a million pictures.We stopped at Thunder Hole, which we saw from the boat yesterday. The waves go into a cave under the rocks and can produce some spectacular ocean spray, along with a noise that sounds like thunder.This is what I was hoping for.But this is what I got. Oh, well - it was still pretty cool.We stopped at Jordan Pond, a fresh water lake, with a view of The Bubbles, those 2 hills in the background.And then we drove up to the top of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point in the park.
