Tuesday, Sept 8th: Found us up and out of the house early and heading to the Kootenay's and our daughter Teagan & son-in-law Shawn's new stomping grounds. This is a spectacular drive along Hwy 3, one of the best drives in all of BC.The highway winds and dips just enough to keep you on your toes, without it being problematic - at least we like it! Most people have heard about all the terrible fires that roared through our province (and many other areas) this summer. Rock Creek was the only spot we could get a picture, but that was enough.Right at the edge of the road.....Well said...... We will usually stop at the Grand Forks Visitor Information Centrefor a lunch break..... Not much traffic on the road ...Read more...
