Sidney, MT High 75 Low 44 I was born and raised in Sidney, MT which is only 51 miles from Glendive. We haven’t been back to Sidney since my Dad died in 2010 and I really wanted to visit my old stomping grounds. Yellowstone River Along the way we stopped at Intake Fishing Access on the Yellowstone River. Most of Montana’s fishing access areas have primitive camping sites. Intake has sites that are right on the river and even though the campground isn’t well taken care of, it was a pretty place. Especially in the Fall with all the leaves turning.
