Knowing Moab has numerous examples of Indian rock art, we decide to spend the morning exploring it. The Visitor Center provided information about the rock art here and the people who may have created it as well as a list of several places to go and see it. There are two types of rock art: petroglyphs and pictographs. Petroglyphs are motifs that are pecked, ground, incised, abraded, or scratched on the rock surface.
