I’m a little behind in posting, because Saturday we drove into no cell zone. We had heard that cell service was bad just north of Parker, but the AT&T coverage map looked like we could make it work. Even though we booked a week at River Island State Park, we only stayed one night. With our cell phone boosters we were able to get 3 bars of AT&T 3G, but the data was pretty unusable. Lucky for us, we were able to get a refund for the 6 additional nights. Later that afternoon, we drove down a 4 1/2 mile dirt road and met Lisa & Norm at The Desert Bar.
