On Saturday we moved an hour south west to Utah Lake State Park in Provo. Our friends Jim & Gayle were here the week before and picked their favorite spot for us. (A10) We’re on the outside of the loop and our spot overlooks the wetlands and the city skyline. Gayle warned us that the park sits next to a small airport, but we don’t mind, the planes aren’t very loud and they’re fun to watch. What we didn’t know ahead of time is that waterfowl hunting season started the day we arrived. “Shooting hours for all waterfowl, snipe and coots begin 30 minutes before official sunrise.
