By the time I finished my blog entry for Saturday it was closing in on 10 am, and we wanted to be at work by 12:30, so we decided to take a short walk on "south" beach before our afternoon shift. In all we walked a tad over 2 miles.....how many places can one of modest means afford to live where you can take a morning walk on the beach before reporting to work? Every time we hike down the road to "south beach" I get a smile that would be difficult to slap off my face, and it stays there pretty much all day.We arrived at the lighthouse just at 12:30 to relieve Paul and Nina, to find that, at last, the visitor traffic is beginning to slow down.
