Four years ago today we returned to our motorhome, which was parked at an RV repair shop, and came face to face with an armed burglar. It was a terrifying experience and one that taught us that complacency can get you killed in a hurry. I wrote about the incident in a blog post titled A Violent Encounter. We can look back on it from here and remind ourselves that it could have been worse and be grateful for that.
