Huntington Beach is conveniently located just about 30 minutes from Anaheim, sits on the famed Pacific Coast Highway, and is home to surfing (lessons available!), a pier, and some great restaurants. When visiting this part of Southern California, the Sunset Vista RV Camping “Facility” (www.sunsetvistacamping.huntingtonbeachca.gov) is also a great place to spend a couple of nights! For $60 per night (only $50 if you are over 62 or have a handicap placard) we stayed in space #20 and were less than 60 feet from the sand. We had an unobstructed view of the pier, the beach, and the ocean, and at night you could hear the waves crash just about 100 yards away.
