Our friend Tim told us about Lake Holloman and even though he warned us there would be a nightly visit from military police, we decided to check it out. Lake Hollowman is located next door to White Sands National Monument and appears to be a destination for hunters though we didn’t see anyone else during our visit. Initially, we thought maybe we’d stay the night and then head over to the nearby state park. When we took Curits for a walk, Brian’s head got attacked by biting gnats so we decided to leave.
