Today was a beautiful day for a visit to Yosemite National Park. The weather was good, temperatures in the high 50s and sunny. One the way to the park we stopped off at Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad is a historic three foot narrow guage railroad with two operating steam train-locomotives in the Sierra National Forest near the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. We didn't go on an excursion but enjoyed looking at the train. Several people have told us that the waterfalls in Yosemite weren't much to see because of the drought that this area is experiencing.
