On our final day in the Astoria area, Kerri and I returned to Lewis and Clark Historical Park for one last hike in the area. The original plan was to take the Fort to Sea trail, but we didn’t get too far down the trail before full distraction took over. The sheer amount of mushrooms along the trail warranted – demanded – our attention, and since Kerri is quite the mushroom hunter, we spent our time doing just that.
