We enjoyed our two day stay at North lakes RV Resort but we certainly wouldn’t want to stay longer as there is little to do in this part of Florida unless you love to fish. If you are a fisherman then Lake Okeechobee is a fishing mecca. It is known for its large mouth bass but I was told by a resident that the crappie fishing was tremendous. I love to fish but don’t think that would be enough for me to stay very long here. We did go for a hike along the berm that surrounds Lake Okeechobee. This hike and bike trail is 110 miles and goes completely around the lake. Needless to say we didn’t do the whole trail… The next days drive on sleepy back roads over to Fort Meyers was an easy one. We saw this sign along the way.So I pulled into the parking lot and in we went. This was the first time in the Wife Saver Restaurant there are several in the Augusta area. You order your food and pay for it then when it is ready they call your number you go and get it. Nancy ordered the four piece chicken strips with green beans, cole slaw and a drink for $9.48 I was going to order the same thing then noticed they had the specials. Sara Park is a 1,100-acre, multi-purpose city park, located about 7 miles south of Campbell Cove RV Resort (where we are staying) in Lake Havasu City. In addition to hiking and biking trails, there is an off-leash dog park, rodeo and fairgrounds, BMX and motor cross raceway, roller hockey facility, baseball/softball fields, gun/archery ranges, and the Havasu 95 Speedway (stock car racing venue). Where are we today ? Flying J Joplin Missouri           Had another great night and we were gonna leave early this morning but really in no hurry. Sun came  up but the fog rolled in. So we just waited for it to burn off.
