It’s been a busy month so far! We’ve enjoyed a weekend stay at Deer Creek Conservation Area and just returned from our nine day holiday at Sandbanks Provincial Park! It was a super, awesome stay! The weather held out nicely with only one night of rain and thunderstorms earlier in the week and rain on the Sunday we left. Sandbanks is a gorgeous park! We hiked the Dunes Trail, paddled the Outlet River to East Lake then spent a few different days paddling West Lake and fishing. The bass fishing in West Lake was great! We had a fish fry one night and took home enough bass for another meal. I paddled across West Lake to the Dunes and spent some time there. What amazing scenery! Spectacular!
