Phoenix AZ A settlement that wasn't fair. A couple of months ago the ground under our left front leveling jack settled and the jack pad was driven into the ground. I put a wood block under it after filling in the settlement, but last week we had another settlement event and THAT wood block got broken. I think it was rain this last time that caused the settlement, and it may have been so the first time as well. I filled in the current settlement with gravel from the yard so that it was heaped up, and put the redwood block back in service turned over the other side.
